David has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector, specialising in the insurance risk advisory industry. A strong believer in developing people, enhancing lives and building for the future has been David’s ethos since 1997. Building strong and trusted relationships with his clients and helping them plan for their future is important to David and his team. He strives to provide his clients the best advice for their individual needs, and gives options and choices throughout the process. David is a Financial Adviser, and with his vast experience of working with self-employed, businesses, farming, families and individuals he can ensure the very best quality service and professionalism in the industry.

Emily Donaldson
FINANCIAL ADVISER – MORTGAGES

Emily has a real passion for helping others. She has over 10 years’ experience in the Finance Industry. Having spent time in the Commercial sector, Emily has established herself in Residential & Personal Lending with a desire to help people see and achieve their financial and mortgage goals. Emily is very goal oriented and loves helping her clients make financial plans and see them through to achieve them. Outside of work Emily loves to spend quality time with her children exploring Christchurch City and all it has to offer, and in her down time she enjoys a good Prosecco in the sunshine with friends.

Kendelle Stephen
FIINANCIAL ADVISER – KIWISAVER

Meet Kendelle, our newest team member at Insure. With a strong background in KiwiSaver and Investments, Kendelle brings a wealth of knowledge to help you achieve your financial goals, whether you’re saving for your first home or planning for retirement, or funding private schooling.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog on long beach walks, relaxing with family and friends, and savouring sunny summer days with a crisp beverage in hand!

Robert Shaw
FIINANCIAL ADVISER – INSURANCES

Rob is a highly regarded financial adviser with over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He has established a reputation as a hardworking insurance adviser who achieves outstanding results for his clients.

Rob provides personal and business insurance and financial advice to individuals, families, and business owners. Many of his clients are in the rural sector; farmers and businesses servicing the rural community around Rangiora where he is based. He grew up in Tuatapere in Southland and attended Waiau College. On leaving school, he worked in the hospitality sector and is a qualified chef.

Rob’s philosophy is to make insurance simple for his clients – simply to find them the best policies to address their needs, policies that deliver come claim time.

Rob and his partner Lisa have two girls, and live on a lifestyle block in Sefton, north of Rangiora. He enjoys the outdoors when time permits, especially hunting, fishing and diving.

Andrew Smith
FINANCIAL ADVISER – FIRE & GENERAL INSURANCE

Andrew has more than forty years’ experience in the General Insurance Industry, the majority of these have been as an Insurance Broker.

The two main things in Insurance that appeal to Andrew is learning about a client’s business and building a relationship with a client. He still has clients from over thirty-five years ago! Forming a relationship means there is an easy flow of information which makes arranging the right insurance easy and understandable.

With the advent of climate change the Insurance Industry is changing quicker than any other time, it is important to Andrew that clients understand the reasons for these changes and the choices they have.

Andrew grew up and went to school in Ashburton and then moved to Christchurch. While in Ashburton he represented Mid Canterbury in several sports and is still a keen sportsman. Unfortunately, age is now dictating what sports! his favourite pastimes are now tramping and mountain biking, and living in Rangiora means he is very close to facilities for both. These together with Rotary activities keep him busy.

Charrissa Paterson
OFFICE MANAGER & CLIENT SUPPORT
Charrissa has worked in the insurance industry for over 14 years, supporting advisers and their clients with her extensive knowledge of the industry. She is a valuable asset to the team at Insure and is always happy to hear from our clients to help them through the application and claims process. She thoroughly enjoys speaking with clients and helping them in their journey.

Charrissa works closely alongside Elicia in the Office Administration team at Insure, ensuring clients as much as David, are supported.

In her spare time, Charrissa enjoys relaxing with her family and walking her dog.

Elicia Rolston
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR & CLIENT SUPPORT

Elicia has been with Insure since its earliest days. She has nearly 10 years’ experience in the Insurance Industry and works closely alongside Charrissa in the office administration and client support team. As well as helping out clients in any way she can, Elicia also manages the Fire & General Policies and administration.

Elicia loves chatting with clients and takes much pleasure in helping people through the process of applying for and also claiming on their policies should they ever need to.

In her own time, Elicia loves to spend quality time with her friends & family.

Simone Jochem
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP SUPPORT & ACCOUNTS

Simone has over 15 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry, spending most of this time helping people consolidate debt and get into their own homes!

However, in recent years, Simone has taken a step back in her ‘professional roles’ to have and raise her three beautiful boys with David. Whilst doing this she has helped and supported David in the establishment and development of INSURE.

Simone currently works alongside Emily as Client Relationship Support and Administration for lending, and is a fully qualified Financial Adviser.

She is also the accounts manager for INSURE, and works alongside the rest of the team offering ongoing support to all in the office.

Outside the office and work life, Simone is busy spending quality time with her family and pottering around her garden on sunny days.

Natalie Amersfoort
Administration & Client Support

Natalie has been part of the team at Insure in a casual capacity for over 5 years. In this time, she has move between various roles in the business. Natalie assists with all the administration tasks when she is available. Most of her time these days, is spent studying Psychology at Otago University.
Natalie has developed a great knowledge for the Insurance Industry, administration operations and client relations and is a great asset to our team when she can be here.
