With over 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, David is a trusted expert in insurance risk advisory. Since 1997, his guiding principles have been developing people, improving lives, and building a secure future for the good of the country.

David is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships with his clients, helping them navigate their financial journey with confidence. He takes a personalised approach, ensuring individuals and businesses receive tailored advice and a range of options to suit their unique needs.

As a Financial Adviser, David has worked extensively with self-employed professionals, businesses, farmers, families, and individuals. His deep industry knowledge and commitment to excellence ensure that more New Zealanders can access high-quality financial advice and long-term security.

Outside of work you could find Dave in any number of places. He loves spending time with his boys and wife the most, but otherwise you may find him; fishing or diving; being on the water; busy with cars; or BBQ’ing with friends.

Emily Donaldson
FINANCIAL ADVISER – MORTGAGES

Emily has a real passion for helping others. She has over 10 years’ experience in the Finance Industry. Having spent time in the Commercial sector, Emily has established herself in Residential & Personal Lending with a desire to help people see and achieve their financial and mortgage goals. Emily is very goal oriented and loves helping her clients make financial plans and see them through to achieve them. Outside of work Emily loves to spend quality time with her children exploring Christchurch City and all it has to offer, and in her down time she enjoys a good Prosecco in the sunshine with friends.

Scott Stephen

Scott has over a decade of experience in Fire & General Insurance, supported by a diverse professional background that brings depth, perspective, and plenty of real‑world insight (and more than a few entertaining stories). Originally from Scotland, his strong accent is well known and often the first thing clients comment on and enjoy. Outside of work, Scott enjoys hunting, tramping, and spending time outdoors, as well as valuing time with family and friends. He is approachable, knowledgeable, and committed to providing trusted advice and long‑term value to his clients.

Rosanna Wheeler

Jadon Beckmann

FINANCIAL ADVISER – KIWISAVER

Jadon is a passionate and driven Financial Adviser with a strong interest in Investments and KiwiSaver, who enjoys helping clients build confidence in their financial future. He takes a practical, personalised approach to advice and values building genuine, long-term relationships grounded in trust and clarity.

Outside of work, Jadon enjoys reading his Bible, playing golf and hockey, and unwinding with board games. He also values spending quality time with friends and believes balance, integrity, and connection are just as important in life as they are in financial wellbeing.

Charrissa Paterson
OFFICE MANAGER & CLIENT SUPPORT
Charrissa has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years, supporting advisers and their clients with her extensive knowledge of the industry. She is a valuable asset to the team at Insure and is always happy to hear from our clients to help them through the application and claims process. She thoroughly enjoys speaking with clients and helping them in their journey.

Charrissa works closely alongside Elicia in the Office Administration team at Insure, ensuring clients as much as David, are supported.

In her spare time, Charrissa enjoys relaxing with her family and walking her dog.

Elicia Rolston
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR & CLIENT SUPPORT

Elicia has been with Insure since its earliest days. She has over 15 years’ experience in the Insurance Industry and works closely alongside Charrissa in the office administration and client support team.

Elicia loves chatting with clients and takes much pleasure in helping people through the process of applying for and also claiming on their policies should they ever need to.

In her own time, Elicia loves to spend quality time with her friends & family, especially if it involves great music!

Simone Jochem
Business Development Manager

Simone has over 15 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry, spending most of this time helping people consolidate debt and get into their own homes!

In recent years, Simone has taken a step back in her ‘professional roles’ to have and raise her three beautiful boys with David. Whilst doing this she has helped and supported David in the establishment and development of INSURE.

Simone currently works alongside Emily as Client Relationship Support and Administration for lending and is a fully qualified Financial Adviser.

She is also the accounts manager for INSURE, and works alongside the rest of the team offering ongoing support to all in the office.

Outside the office and work life, Simone is busy spending quality time with her family and pottering around her garden on sunny days.

Preet Bal
Administration & Client Support

Preet is a hardworking and enthusiastic team member with a passion for all things finance. Currently studying full-time, she joins the Insure team in a part-time capacity, where she’s eager to grow her knowledge and gain hands-on experience in the Financial Services Industry. Preet has just recently completed her studies in Level 5 Financial Services and is quickly growing her hands on experience in the Life & Health/Personal Risk space of Insure. Outside of work and study, you’ll find Preet at Church, spending time with friends and family, or keeping up with current world affairs.
